SmartViz is delighted to announce that Trevor Payne has joined the company as Strategic Advisor.
Trevor brings over 40 years of leadership experience across Higher Education and Healthcare, including his most recent role as Director of Estates at the University of Oxford, where he has been responsible for one of the most complex and historically significant estates in the world.
Throughout his career, Trevor has been at the forefront of transforming estates through the application of digital technologies, data, and strategic estate planning. His work has consistently focused on improving how buildings and campuses are used, operated, and experienced.
SmartViz and Trevor have worked closely together over recent years, including during the COVID-19 period where data and predictive modelling supported universities in maintaining safe and effective operations. More recently, collaboration at Oxford has demonstrated how real-time data and analytics can support better space utilisation and more informed estate decisions.
This appointment builds on that existing relationship and reflects a shared ambition to accelerate the transformation of estates through data-led, human-centred approaches.
As Strategic Advisor, Trevor will support SmartViz across:
- Strategic direction and sector engagement, particularly in Higher Education and Healthcare
- Thought leadership and industry collaboration
- Development of approaches that combine data, analytics and real-world estate challenges
